Hemja Agro Private Limited was founded in 2020 with a vision to assist local farmers in long term storage of their produce. It is situated in Hemja, Kaski district which is well known for producing potatoes. It has a storage capacity of 1000 metric ton with fitted racks.
We have been successful in gaining the trust of both the government and the farmers.

Hemja Agro Private Limited was founded by Mr. Safal Thapa and Mr. Dhan Bahadur Thapa in 2020. They shared a vision to become the leading high-tech, research-based post-harvest facility in Nepal.

Dhan Bahadur Thapa

Mr. Thapa was born into a family whose primary occupation was farming, providing him with a wealth of experience in agriculture. Additionally, he has extensive experience as a realtor, businessman, and investor. Some of his notable engagements include:

Contributions: Mr. Dhan Bahadur Thapa manages official documentation processes in government offices while also offering strategic financial planning services. With a career spanning 34 years, he has positioned himself as a key figure in ensuring smooth administrative operations and robust financial management for our company.

Safal Thapa

Mr. Safal is a software engineer who also serves as an Assistant Lecturer in the Computer Engineering Department at Pokhara Engineering College. Upon returning to Nepal after completing his education in the USA, his goal was to establish himself as both an entrepreneur and educator. Through extensive research, he identified a critical need for a post-harvest facility in his hometown. At Hemja Agro, he oversees all technical aspects, from initial planning and procurement to installation and ongoing maintenance.
Contributions: Safal spearheads the company's strategic initiatives, concentrating on technological innovations aimed at improving the quality and lifespan of harvested crops.
